Your First Visit
From babies to fifth graders, our team wants to give your family an excellent experience.
When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form, we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your child’s code on the screen. This sticker will also be required to pick up your child after the service.
We believe that children are precious and we should do everything we can to teach them to love God and love others. At Coastal Kids, we provide a safe, positive, and fun environment to learn about God’s love and grow in a relationship with Him. Children’s ministry is available during both of our services.
INFANT | PRE-K - Starting from the very beginning, we care about your child's experience in church. Our caring team leads the youngest of our congregation in play, story, crafts, and songs founded in Biblical truths. We keep our Coastal Kids space ready for your little ones. Each room is thoroughly sanitized.
GRADES K-5 - Parents don’t have to make their kids come to Coastal Kids, they can’t wait to be here! We work hard to make this your kids’ favorite time of the week! Worship, fun games, and energetic stories help kids love learning about God. Kindergarteners through 3rd graders are taught God’s Word and shown how to follow Jesus!
Our goal for our 4th and 5th graders is for them to cultivate a love for praising God through our new worship experience and develop their faith through large group teaching and small group discussion. This is a powerful transition time where good habits are formed before heading off to Coastal Students in the 6th grade.
PARENT/CHILD DEDICATION - Jesus’ parents dedicated Him to God when he was a child (Luke 2:22). With a heart to follow this Biblical model, we also offer the opportunity for you to dedicate your children. BAPTISM - If your child is ready to celebrate their decision to follow Jesus, baptism may be the next step for them! We have baptisms scheduled throughout the year. For more information on exact dates and to register your child for baptism please click here.
