BE LOVE TUTORING
In Partnership with Feed the Lambs

At Coastal Church, being the “Be Love” church means showing God’s love in tangible, life-changing ways. One of our favorite community Be Love projects is our Tutoring Ministry, launched in fall 2024 in partnership with Feed the Lambs , a trusted ministry that has served children in our community for more than 30 years.

Through this program, Coastal Church volunteers are paired with students from Pre-K to 12th grade in the north Indian River County community. Our mentors do more than help with homework—they listen, encourage, and invest relationally, building trust and inspiring confidence.

Tutoring sessions take place Monday through Thursday from 3:30–5:30 PM at Coastal Church. During that time, children receive academic support, mentoring, and the reminder that they are deeply loved by God.

We celebrate every bit of progress—academic, behavioral, and spiritual—because we know that God cares about the whole child. Each smile, breakthrough, and “lightbulb moment” is a reminder that love really does change lives.

For Parents & Guardians

If you have a child who could benefit from tutoring, we’d love to welcome them! Simply bring your child to Coastal Church during our tutoring hours:Monday–Thursday, 3:30–5:30 PM.

For the best results, we encourage regular attendance so that students can build momentum academically and relationally

For Volunteers

All volunteers are required to complete abackground check (paid for by Coastal Church)to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every child.
